Turkey Ranks 45th According to the 2024 Henley Passport Index, Turkish passport holders can travel to 125 countries visa-free or with a visa on arrival. This places Turkey in 45th place on the list of the world’s most powerful passports. This ranking highlights Turkey’s consistent performance in recent years.
The top of the list is dominated by Asian countries. Singapore, with visa-free access to 194 destinations, maintains its position as the world’s most powerful passport for 2024. Germany and Italy follow closely in second place, granting access to 190 countries.
In third place are Spain, South Korea, and Austria, whose passports allow visa-free travel to 189 destinations.
At the bottom of the list is Afghanistan, whose passport allows visa-free access to only 27 countries, once again placing it at the very end. This stark contrast illustrates the significant disparities in travel freedom among nations.
