According to Walmart’s blog, the new feature is available on the iOS app, but it will be available on Android devices in the coming weeksiOS app. Still, it will be available on Android devices in the coming weeks, according to Walmart’s blog.
Walmart explains, “Our technology accomplishes this key differentiator with algorithms and intricate machine learning models – techniques originally utilized in developing highly accurate topographic maps – to show how an item of clothing will look on someone.”
The new feature allows customers to choose either option, using their image or a similar model. Online customers can use the personalized tool to access a more realistic model. The website scans the person’s body and uses it to show shopping items on the body.
