Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, who dropped a bomb on both the hardware and technology market with his statements within the scope of CES 2025 and after the fair, continues his interesting statements. This week, Huang, who had a rant against those who criticised the price of RTX 5090 by saying ‘Quality is expensive’, now claimed that Nvidia is a small company. Here are the details and his statements…
Nvidia seems to be dissatisfied with the situation despite the huge growth…
As you know, the usage areas of graphics cards are expanding day by day. These products, which used to be preferred only for high visual quality and gaming performance, are now actively used in video editing, graphics production, artificial intelligence, crypto mining and many other fields. One of the companies that gain the most from this change is Nvidia…
The company increased its market value by more than 170 per cent last year, reaching $ 3.33 trillion. However, despite this incredible growth, Jensen Huang still characterises Nvidia as a ‘small company’.
In an interview highlighting Nvidia’s leadership in the technology sector, Huang talked about the company’s vision. Huang said, ‘Nvidia’s rule is to only do things that others don’t do, or to focus on areas where we can do much better. We have 32 thousand employees, and this number is very small compared to giants like Google or Apple. But this allows us to focus our resources and develop innovative solutions.’
While Huang’s statements create controversy, some industry experts take this approach from a different perspective. In terms of the number of employees, the company may be working with a smaller team compared to other technology giants. However, considering its market capitalisation and industry impact, calling Nvidia a ‘small company’ is funny to say the least.
So, do you think Nvidia is still a ‘small company’? What do you think about Jensen Huang’s statements? Don’t forget to share your opinions in the comments!
