Google has introduced a new update to Gemini, bringing performance improvements. Focusing on data quality and various performance aspects for Gemini Advanced subscribers, this update aims to provide better answers.

Important update for Google Gemini 1.5 Pro

Within the scope of the new update, previous updates to the 1.5 Pro model, which forms the basis of Gemini, have provided gains in different benchmark tests such as general knowledge, math problems, computer vision tasks and code examples. The latest update provides more accurate answers to requests that include complex topics and calculations.

Gemini 1.5 Pro stands out with its ability to understand long documents uploaded by users. In addition, the latest package is the third update the model has received since its first introduction. The update in mid-August also brought performance improvements based on user feedback.

Google previously announced that it was working on a “planner” feature for Gemini that would allow for complex travel and event itineraries. However, that planning tool has not yet been released, so it could be part of an upcoming update.

Among other changes, Google has consolidated Gemini branding across its website under a single “Ask Gemini” prompt. Previously, there was a separate “Ask Gemini Advanced” text for the paid Gemini Advanced tier.

Gemini is also seeing increased integration across the company’s services. It can now help users in Google Workspace, Search, and other apps.
