Meta is exploring ways to enhance its popular social media app, Threads, which has faced challenges in Turkey and had accounts frozen for several months. To boost engagement, Meta may introduce a new feature that links Instagram comments with Threads. Here are the details:
Instagram Comments Could Be Shared on Threads
Although Threads is currently unavailable in Turkey, it continues to gain new users globally. Meta aims to expand its user base by creating a new connection between Instagram and Threads. According to recent reports, Instagram may soon offer a feature allowing users to share comments directly on Threads.

A user named Alessandro Paluzzi shared a screenshot showing a dropdown menu on Instagram that lets users choose “Also share on Threads” when commenting. This would enable comments to be visible on both Instagram and Threads.
Threads reached 200 million active users within just 13 months, and its growth continues worldwide. In contrast, X (formerly Twitter) had over 600 million monthly users as of May. Meta has a history of integrating its apps with other social media platforms, and this move appears to be part of that strategy.
What do you think about this development? Should Threads be made available in Turkey? Share your thoughts in the comments.
