Samsung is solving a long-standing problem in smartphones with a new camera update. The new feature introduced to the Galaxy Enhance-X app app appeals to users who take selfies by turning the phone. The company will now automatically rotate the camera without the need to turn the phone.
Samsung will now allow you to take inverted photos without turning your phone
A feature called “camera panning” has been quietly added to the Galaxy Enhance-X app. While it serves a few different functions, it allows you to take an upside-down photo without having to turn the phone over. So what does this do?
The new feature mainly consists of three options. First, it automatically adjusts the photo to look like it was taken with an upside-down phone. This lowers the height of the virtual camera, creating a copy similar to the image above.
Users will also be able to manually adjust the “camera height” between low, medium and high. Samsung said that lowering the height will result in longer legs and a smaller head, while increasing it will make the torso appear taller.
The third option allows users to tilt the virtual camera up to 10 degrees from the center. Samsung says that playing with the height and tilt settings can correct posture distortion in selfies.
This package, which is initially offered to the Galaxy S24 series, actually aims to offer a smoother appearance with artificial intelligence. It also aims to correct the height and tilt of the camera.
