The countdown has begun for vivo’s new price/performance phone!

vivo V50 has appeared on the SIRIM database with the model number V2427. So, what does this development mean? Here are the details!

The Chinese brand vivo is working to expand its product lineup, and it is expected to launch the vivo V50 in the near future. Reports so far suggest that the product will focus on a price-performance concept. Recent developments indicate that the model has passed a significant milestone ahead of its official launch.

The vivo V50, listed with the model number V2427, has been spotted in the SIRIM database. While the listing does not reveal any specific features of the smartphone, it strongly hints that the launch is imminent.

According to earlier leaks, the vivo V50 will hit the shelves with two configurations: 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. Furthermore, it will be powered by a 6,000 mAh battery supporting 90W fast charging.

It is speculated that the vivo V50 could be a rebranded version of the vivo S20, which was launched in November. If this claim is accurate, the two models are likely to share very similar technical specifications.

To give an idea, here are the specs of the vivo S20:
