Apple has introduced the long-awaited iPhone 16 series to users. The brand, which attracted attention with its USB-C connection last year, aims to attract photography enthusiasts with a brand new physical shutter button this time. However, the innovations of the iPhone 16 Pro are not limited to this. So why did I switch from the iPhone 16 Pro Max to the iPhone 16 Pro?
Why did we switch from the iPhone 16 Pro Max to the iPhone 16 Pro?
The iPhone 16 Pro, the most powerful device Apple has ever produced, takes the performance bar to the next level, especially with the A18 Pro processor.
Apple designed a new processor that reaches speeds above 4 GHz by using all the advantages of the 3-nanometer production process. The A18 Pro stands out as a perfect balance of power and energy saving with 2 performance cores at 4.05 GHz and 4 efficiency cores.
Increasing the screen-to-body ratio to 92 percent, Apple also increased the overall dimensions of the device. The iPhone 16 Pro, measuring 163 x 77.6 x 8.3 mm, is both longer and wider than its predecessor.
The iPhone 16 Pro also comes with important updates on the camera side:
- 48 MP main camera: Superior performance even in low light with f/1.8 aperture.
- 12 MP periscope telephoto camera: 5x optical zoom.
- 48 MP ultra-wide angle camera: Striking details with f/2.2 aperture.
The new A18 Pro processor increases camera performance, enabling 120 FPS video recording at 4K resolution. In addition, it is possible to obtain high-quality images that take up less space with JPEG-XL format support.
The front camera has a resolution of 12 MP and can record 4K 60 FPS video.
One of the most striking innovations of the device is the physical shutter button on the right. Users can focus by pressing this button lightly, and zoom by swiping left and right.
