Mercedes has announced the integration of its mobile app into Apple Watches. Accordingly, vehicle owners will now be able to access their vehicles directly with their watches thanks to the new app developed for Apple Watch. Many vehicle-related transactions can be easily handled without the need for your phone. So, which features are we talking about?

In fact, the aim of the new app is to eliminate the hassle of dealing with the phone for Mercedes users and make things easier. With this app, Mercedes joins other manufacturers such as Honda, Ford and Volvo in the race to integrate technology into vehicles. Here are some of the features the app offers:
- Checking the fuel or battery level
- Remote locking and unlocking the vehicle
- Receive notifications that windows are open or closed
- Find the last place where the vehicle was parked
- Learn remaining range
By the way, Mercedes’ new Apple Watch app is only compatible with Mercedes-Benz models from 2019 onwards. Also, depending on the vehicle model and equipment, some features in the app may vary. For example, some functions, such as seeing the battery level, are only available for electric and hybrid vehicles.
The new app, which can be downloaded from the App Store on Apple Watch devices, is compatible with Apple Watches with watchOS 9 or higher operating system. However, the iPhone to which the device is connected must have Mercedes-Benz’s mobile app installed.
