Electric vehicle charging stations are coming to İSPARK’s parking lots
The project to bring electric vehicle charging stations to ISPARK parking lots will be auctioned on November 21, following the publication of the tender on November 6 in the Official Gazette. It is emphasized that technical specifications have been prepared and discussions have been held with experienced companies and NGO representatives in the sector.
According to the latest data from TÜİK, as of October 2024, there are 137,009 electric vehicles registered in Turkey. Between the end of 2023 and October 2024, the number of electric vehicles has increased by 71.17%. Considering these figures, it can be said that the demand for electric vehicle charging stations and related services is growing.
The new ISPARK project aims to meet the increasing demand while reducing carbon emissions and improving air quality. Additionally, it is highlighted that there are currently 6,767 charging sockets at 2,407 locations in Istanbul, and this project will offer significant options for electric vehicle owners.
