Elon Musk continues to make headlines with various events day by day. This time, the topic of discussion is the possibility of Twitter becoming a paid platform. Musk, in his statement on the matter, literally said, “Costs are not being covered.” So, what are the underlying facts of this issue? Will Twitter really become paid? Here are the details…
Elon Musk: The only way to fight bots! I can’t think of anything else…
Elon Musk remains in the spotlight with his recent statements. After the alleged factories to be established in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, the focus now shifts back to Twitter. And of course, there’s the long-forgotten Musk vs. Zuckerberg cage fight rumor. However, today’s topic is a bit more disheartening.
Elon Musk, who has been managing Twitter in a market-oriented manner, changed the platform’s name to X after his recent revisions. Many users still refer to it as Twitter, but using the name X for the platform is now more accurate. In his recent statements, he also mentioned, “Costs are not being covered.”
The issue actually arose from the bots on the Twitter, or X platform. Musk stated in his announcement that the company would transition to a “small monthly payment” for using the X system. He argued that such a change would be necessary to address the bot problem on the platform.
In response to the reactions, Musk stated, “This payment system is the only way I can think of to fight against massive robot armies.” Musk didn’t specify how much the new subscription payment would cost but described it as a “small amount of money.” In short, one day, we’ll either migrate from Twitter, or the X platform, or we’ll opt for Elon Musk’s “small” payment system.
