Samsung, one of the successful players in the smartphone market, unveiled the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year. Recent reports highlight the impressive sales success of the company’s current flagship models, even as we await the Galaxy S25 series.
Galaxy S24 Series Sells 17% More Than Its Predecessor
According to reliable industry sources, the Galaxy S24 series sold a total of 31.85 million units during its 10 months on the market. This marks a 17% increase compared to the Galaxy S23 series in the same timeframe.
Breaking this down further, as of October 2024, the Galaxy S24 sold 10.94 million units, the S24 Plus 6.27 million, and the S24 Ultra 14.65 million. By comparison, the Galaxy S23 sold 9.69 million units, the S23 Plus 4.97 million, and the S23 Ultra 12.6 million. The total sales figure for the S23 series was 27.26 million units.
In addition to the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung’s foldable devices also achieved significant success. The recently introduced Galaxy Z Fold 6 sold 1.81 million units, while the Z Flip 6 sold 2.47 million. These figures represent a 9% increase in sales compared to their predecessors.
Although not yet confirmed, the South Korean manufacturer is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 series in late January or early February. However, some reports suggest that the new series may come with higher prices due to rising component costs.
