Samsung, one of the successful players in the smartphone industry, is gearing up to unveil its Galaxy S25 series early next year. Thanks to reports that have surfaced so far, there are not many unanswered questions about the models. So, how many units of the upcoming series are expected to be sold? Here are the details!
Galaxy S25 is expected to surpass its predecessor in sales
As is known, previous reports revealed that the Galaxy S24 series, launched earlier this year, achieved significant success in sales. In fact, a report shared in November indicated that the phones sold 17% more than their predecessors.
Samsung set a sales target of approximately 35 million units for the Galaxy S24 series in 2024. However, the brand has raised the bar for the Galaxy S25 series, aiming for 37 million units in 2025.
It’s worth noting that these are merely internal projections by the brand. The critical factor here is appealing to the user. To achieve this, the upcoming smartphones need to meet expectations in terms of design, technical specifications, and most importantly, price.
Considering the details above, it is evident that the Galaxy S24 series successfully resonated with users. In fact, reliable sources indicate that these phones represent the first Galaxy S series to achieve double-digit growth over its predecessor since 2018.
Samsung is also planning to raise its targets for foldable phones in 2025. The company aims to produce a total of 7 million foldable phones, including models like the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7.
