Insomniac Games is releasing update 1.002 for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, a packed update that includes new features, costumes, and a charity event for players to donate to charity.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 update brings new costumes and New Game+ mode
Update 1.002, which will be released on March 7th, brings numerous improvements to the game. One of the most anticipated additions is the New Game+ mode, which allows players to move their costumes and locked abilities to a new save file. This mode offers a challenge for those who want to test their skills in a more difficult game.
New costumes included in the update include Marvel’s Hellfire Gala skins for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, offering even more customization options. Players can also expect Ultimate Levels and Golden Gadget skins, as well as special colors for Symbiote abilities.
And that’s not all. Insomniac Games is also introducing improvements to Photo Mode, allowing players to change the time of day in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 after completing the game’s story. Improved accessibility options such as voice descriptions and screen readers are also coming.
Players will have the option to donate $5 to purchase the Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack for early access. All donations made in the US before April 5th will benefit Gameheads, a charity dedicated to helping low-income and underrepresented students pursue careers in the gaming industry. These skins will then be available for free to all Spider-Man 2 owners.
Update 1.002, as we said, will be released on March 7th. What do you think? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
